How to Edit an Off-Season

Updated yesterday

Large Off-Season updates may take some time to process. You’re free to leave the page, navigate elsewhere, or even close Copilot entirely without interrupting the update.

Overview

Off-Seasons allow you to create recurring event series with built-in breaks during specific periods. For example, you can set up a recurring series to happen every Monday, pause it from November to February, and have it automatically resume in March.

You can create, edit, and delete Off-Seasons by going to:

Settings > List Items Visibility

From here, you can update the name, adjust the start and end dates, or delete an Off-Season entirely.

How edits affect your schedule

Editing an Off-Season automatically updates the recurring visits associated with it. If you extend or shorten the Off-Season, Copilot adds or removes visits across all connected recurring series. This keeps schedules aligned with real-world conditions—whether the season runs longer due to warm weather or ends early when winter arrives ahead of schedule.

How Off-Season updates run in Copilot

Off-Season edits are processed through a background queue system designed to handle updates safely and reliably, even when you’re working with large sets of recurring schedules.

This ensures that:

• Edits process fully, even in large batches.
• You can continue working while Copilot handles updates in the background.
• Updates continue running even if you log out or close Copilot.

This approach keeps recurring schedules accurate and dependable as your business grows and your volume of recurring work increases.

Deleting an Off-Season

Off-Seasons can be deleted by going to Settings > List Items Visibility.

Warning: Deleting an off-season from List Items Visibility will NOT automatically update existing series of visits. To update visit series, go to Team > Schedule > Recurring.
