What you’ll need
A Homeworks account (Enterprise, or Growth with your trial window active)
Access to Manus (manus.im)
Step 1: Open Manus and go to Tool Settings
In Manus, open Settings and look for a Tools, Connectors, or MCP section. This is where you add external data sources that Manus can use during tasks.
Step 2: Add the Homeworks MCP server
Create a new MCP server via URL and enter:
Name: Homeworks
<https://api.home.works/mcp>
Save the configuration.
Step 3: Authorize Homeworks
Manus will prompt you to sign in to Homeworks. Use your Homeworks admin email and approve the connection when asked.
✅ Manus may ask permission to run a query the first time it accesses your data — this is expected. Allow it to proceed.
Step 4: Test it
Give Manus a task that uses your Homeworks data, for example:
“Pull my 5 most recent customers from Homeworks.”
If your data comes back — you’re connected. If not, see Troubleshooting: Connection Issues (the same connection steps apply for Manus).
To disconnect
Go to Manus Settings → Tools/MCP → find Homeworks → remove it. This immediately revokes access.
