Updated yesterday

Overview

The Field Force app makes it simple for technicians to manage and complete their assigned visits throughout the day.

From viewing job details to uploading photos and videos, everything you need to complete your work is in one place.

Viewing a Visit

  1. From your Today schedule, tap a visit to open it.

  2. You’ll see key details, including:

    • Customer Name and Property Address

    • Event Type (Visit, Meeting, or To-Do)

    • Event Title

  3. To navigate to the property, tap the map icon to open directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

The Visit Tab

The Visit tab contains all the information and tools you need to complete the job on-site.

Services to Perform

This section shows the services that need to be completed during this visit.
Pricing is hidden to help you focus only on the work that needs to be done.

Notes for the Dispatcher

If there’s anything the office team needs to know about the job, you can leave a note here.

  1. Scroll to Notes for the Dispatcher.

  2. Tap + Add New Note.

  3. Enter your message and save.

Examples:

  • “Gate was locked; couldn’t access backyard.”

  • “Customer requested to skip edging today.”

  • “Completed extra cleanup near driveway.”

These notes instantly sync with the office once you’re back online.

Adding Before and After Media

Document your work directly from the field by uploading photos and videos.

To add media:

  1. Scroll to the Before/After Media section.

  2. Tap to upload or capture new photos or videos.

Video Guidelines:

  • Videos are automatically compressed to stay under 200 MB.

  • For best results, record in 720p resolution.

  • Try to keep videos around 3–4 minutes long.

You can use videos for before-and-after documentation, progress updates, or visual proof of completed services.

Completing or Skipping a Visit

Once you’ve finished your work, scroll to the bottom of the visit.
You’ll have two options:

  • Complete Visit: Marks the visit as finished. If it’s an invoiceable service, an invoice will be generated automatically.

  • Skip Visit: Use this if the job couldn’t be performed (for example, due to weather or lack of access).

If you choose to skip, you’ll be asked to provide a reason so the office staff knows why it wasn’t completed.

The Property Tab

The Property tab provides quick access to important location details.
Here you can view:

  • Property Notes: Gate codes, entry instructions, or safety reminders.

  • Property Media: Photos or videos previously added by your team.

  • Customer Info: Customer name, phone number, and contact details.

Tracking Time for the Visit

At the bottom of the visit screen, you’ll find the time tracking bar.

  • Tap Start Time Tracking when you begin work.

  • Tap Stop Time Tracking when you’re done.

The progress bar shows how your actual time compares to the visit’s Budgeted Hours:

  • Green: Within time.

  • Red: Over the budgeted time.
