Revenue by City Report

Overview

The Revenue by City Report helps you analyze total revenue generated in each city where you do business.


You can view billed, collected, or outstanding revenue for any chosen date range to identify your strongest markets.


Step 1: Open the Reports Page

  1. Navigate to the Reports tab from the left-hand menu.

  2. Under the Financial section, click Revenue by City.


Step 2: Set the Report Parameters

  1. Choose the Date Range you’d like the report to display.

    • By default, the report shows Year to Date.

    • To view a different period, select Last Year or Custom Range from the dropdown.

  2. Select the Billing Type you want to report on:

    • Billed – Total revenue that has been invoiced.

    • Collected – Revenue that has been paid.

    • Outstanding – Revenue that has been billed but not yet paid.


Step 3: Export or Print the Report

Once your report is generated, you can:

  • Export the data as an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv) file

  • Print the report directly from the Export button


Use Case Examples

  • Identify which cities generate the most revenue for your business.

  • Compare billed vs. collected revenue to understand cash flow by region.

  • Support strategic decisions for expansion or targeted marketing based on city performance.
