How To Add Bi-Weekly Visits

Learn how to schedule a recurring bi-weekly visit from the Homeworks calendar.

You can create a recurring series of visits that automatically repeats every two weeks. Use this option when a customer needs service on a consistent bi-weekly schedule.

Step 1: Open the Calendar

Navigate to Schedule > Calendar.

To create a new visit directly from your calendar:

  1. Hover over the header for the day when you want the first visit to occur.

  2. Click the + button.

  3. Enter the initial visit details.

This will open the Create New Visit page.

Step 2: Create a Recurring Series of Visits

On the Create New Visit page, change the visit type to Recurring Series of Visits.

This allows you to create multiple visits on a repeating schedule instead of scheduling each visit individually.

Step 3: Select the Bi-Weekly Schedule

Select Weekly as the recurrence frequency, and update the "Visit every X week(s)" field to "2".

Then choose the day of the week when you want the visit to occur.

Example: If you select Tuesday, the visit will be scheduled every other Tuesday.

Step 4: Choose When the Series Ends

Set the appropriate end date or Total Number of Visits for the recurring series.

If you do not want to select a specific end date, you can enter 80 for Total Number of Visits.

Step 5: Complete the Visit Details

Select the Customer and Property, then complete the remaining required visit fields at the bottom of the page.

Review the information carefully to make sure the customer, property, schedule, and visit details are correct.

Step 6: Create the Visits

Once you've completed all required fields, click Create Visit.

Homeworks will create the recurring series based on the bi-weekly schedule you selected.

Important: Before creating the series, confirm that the first visit date, recurrence day, and total number of visits are correct to avoid creating visits on the wrong dates.
