What your AI assistant can access
When connected, your AI assistant can read and (in some cases) write the following data in your Homeworks account:
Customers — names, contact info, addresses, notes
Jobs & visits — scheduled dates, status, assigned employees, job details
Estimates — line items, totals, status, customer info
Invoices — amounts, payment status, due dates
Time entries — hours logged, employee, associated job
Employees & crews — names, assignments, schedules
Items & services — your service catalog
Properties — addresses, size, notes, associated customer
What your AI assistant cannot access
Payment card or bank information
Passwords or login credentials
Files or photo attachments (coming soon)
Other apps or software outside Homeworks
Any data from accounts you haven’t authorized
Can my AI assistant make changes to my data?
Yes — your AI assistant can create and update records, not just read them. For example, it can create an estimate, update a job status, or add a time entry if you ask it to.
It will not make changes unless you explicitly ask. It will tell you what it’s about to do before doing it.
How to disconnect your AI assistant
Steps vary by tool. In Claude, for example:
Settings → Connectors → find Homeworks → click Remove
For ChatGPT, Manus, and other tools, look for a similar connected apps or integrations panel in your account settings.
This immediately revokes your AI assistant’s access token. It will no longer be able to read or write your Homeworks data.
You can reconnect at any time by following the setup steps again.
