Extending a Level Billing Agreement

Updated yesterday

Overview

If you need to continue a customer’s Level Billing Agreement beyond its original end date, you can easily extend it in Copilot.

This allows you to renew ongoing maintenance or service agreements without starting a new contract.

Step 1: Open the Level Billing Page

  1. Go to Finances > Level Billing.

  2. Locate the Level Billing Agreement you’d like to extend.

  3. Click the Extend button on the right-hand side of the agreement.

    • This will open the full contract details.

Step 2: Update the Contract Dates

  1. In the End Date field, select the new end date for the agreement.

  2. If needed, make any additional updates to the contract details — such as billing frequency, included services, or discount.

Step 3: Save the Extended Agreement

Once you’ve reviewed all changes:

  1. Click the Extend Now button at the bottom of the page.

  2. The agreement will update with the new end date and continue billing according to the same terms.

Tip

Use the Extend option instead of creating a new agreement whenever possible — this keeps all historical data, linked visits, and invoices organized under the same contract.
