Introduction
The Live GPS Employee Tracking feature allows you to see your employees’ locations in real time when they clock in for work. This ensures accountability, improves scheduling accuracy, and provides verification of on-site activity for completed visits.
Availability: This feature is included on the Pro plan and above.
How Live GPS Tracking Works
When an employee clocks into an event (such as a visit or meeting), Copilot automatically takes a snapshot of their GPS location data.

View the exact location of employees when they clock in or out.
Verify that crews were on-site for visits or jobs.
Review historical GPS data for completed work inside the Time Tracking page.
All location data is stored securely and can be referenced later for accountability or customer verification.
Accessing Live GPS Tracking
To view employee GPS data, go to Team > Time Tracking from the left-hand menu.
Tracked Time
This page shows a complete list of all tracked work — including general work, visits, and driving time (if clocked in).
Use the Map View to see your employees’ live GPS locations.
Use the List View to review time entries with timestamps and location logs.
Filter by Employee, Customer, Property, or Category using the toolbar at the top.
Click + Add Time to manually record additional work or travel entries.
Best Practices
Encourage employees to clock in as soon as they arrive on-site to ensure accurate GPS tracking.
Regularly review Tracked Time (Map View) to verify team locations and route efficiency.
Use GPS history as a record of proof for service verification or customer inquiries.
Limit access to GPS data to administrators or managers to maintain privacy compliance.
