Adding a New Tag

Overview

Tags in Copilot CRM help you categorize and organize your customers, properties, and other records for easier filtering and reporting. Follow these steps to add a new tag.


Step 1: Open the Tags Page

  1. In your Copilot dashboard, go to Resources > Tags.

  2. This will open the Tags page, where you can view and manage all existing tags.


Step 2: Create a New Tag

  1. Click the + New Tag button.

  2. A pop-up box will appear prompting you to name your new tag.

  3. Enter the tag name (for example, “VIP,” “Commercial,” or “Seasonal”).

  4. Click Save Tag to add it to your list.


Step 3: Use Tags in Your Workflow

Once your tag is created, you can apply it throughout Copilot CRM.

Examples of where to use tags:

  • When adding a new customer

  • When creating or editing a property

Tags help you filter and group customers or properties with shared characteristics — making it easier to manage lists and run targeted campaigns.


Tip

Use consistent naming conventions for tags (for example, “Commercial Property” instead of “Comm Prop”) to keep your tagging system organized and searchable.
