Overview
Automations in Copilot CRM help streamline your business by handling follow-ups, sending notifications, and reducing manual tasks. With automations, you can:
Automatically follow up with customers.
Receive notifications when key events happen.
Free up time by reducing repetitive tasks.
Understanding how automation toggles work in Copilot CRM is essential for effectively managing customer messaging and scheduling automations. Automation toggles play a key role in ensuring customized or global solutions tailored to your business needs.
Accessing Automations
To access the Automations feature:
Click on Marketing in the left-side menu.
Then click Automations.
On this page, you'll find a list of pre-built automations in your Copilot account, which you can edit, delete, or customize to fit your business needs.
To add a new automation, click the "+ New Automation" button. You can utilize the master toggle to enable or disable global automations to suit your business requirements.
Common Automations in Copilot
Copilot allows for a variety of automation options to keep your business running smoothly. Here are some examples:
✅ Customer Communication
Send a past-due invoice reminder via email or text.
Send an estimate acceptance notification to you or your team.
Let customers know what to expect next after they accept an estimate.
✅ Scheduling Notifications
Notify a customer, you, or an employee when a visit is scheduled for a property.
Send an email or text before a scheduled service.
Notify customers after a service is completed.
Managing Automations with Toggles
Automation control can be managed effectively using two toggle systems in Copilot CRM: the master toggle for global enable/disable settings and individual toggles for customer-specific adjustments.
Example Scenarios
Global Automation Needed: Turn on the master toggle to enable automations for all customers. Use individual toggles if certain customers do not require the automation.
Personalized Automation: With the master toggle on, disable certain automations in an individual customer’s profile to cater to specific requirements.
Disabling All Automations: Turn off the master toggle, which will deactivate related automations system-wide, regardless of individual settings.
The master toggle acts as a central control for enabling or disabling automations for all users. However, finer control can be achieved through individual toggles available in the Customer Profile, which allow specific automations to be tailored at the customer level.
