When you sign up for a paid Homeworks plan, you receive access to a completely free onboarding program designed to help you get your account configured, import your data, and prepare your team to run your business in Homeworks from day one.
How to Register
After signing up, you'll receive an email with a link to register for the onboarding program.
To register:
Open the welcome email.
Click the registration link.
Select either the morning or afternoon session schedule.
Submit the registration form.
Once registered, you'll automatically receive calendar invitations for all five onboarding sessions, and a confirmation email.
Things to Note
Sessions always begin on a Monday.
If you register mid-week, you'll join the next available Monday cohort.
Registration closes one hour before each session begins.
If you need assistance registering, our Customer Success team can register you directly.

Onboarding sessions run Monday through Friday and are available in two daily time slots.

Before your onboarding sessions begin, our Customer Success team will reach out to help plan the import of your existing business data into Homeworks.
Simply export your information from your previous software and we'll handle the migration.

Free Five-Day Implementation Program
The implementation program is a live, instructor-led training series that runs Monday through Friday.
Each session lasts one hour and focuses on a different area of Homeworks. By the end of the week, you'll have a configured account and a clear understanding of how to operate your business using Homeworks.

What Each Session Covers
Session 1: Settings (Monday)
Start by configuring your Homeworks account for success. You'll set up key business settings, payment processing, taxes, and other account preferences that power your day-to-day operations.
Session 2: Team Management & Communication (Tuesday)
Learn how to add team members, manage permissions, and set up communication tools. You'll also get an introduction to Field Force and how your office and field teams work together in Homeworks.
Session 3: Estimates (Wednesday)
Learn how to create, send, and manage estimates. We'll walk through the customer experience and show how accepted estimates flow into scheduled work.
Session 4: Scheduling (Thursday)
Discover how to schedule jobs, assign work to your team, manage routes, and use the Homeworks calendar and dispatch tools to keep operations running smoothly.
Session 5: Invoicing (Friday)
Complete the Homeworks workflow by learning how to generate invoices, collect payments, track balances, and review basic business reporting.
Session Recordings
Every onboarding session is recorded.
Recordings are automatically sent to all registered attendees after each session, whether or not they attended live.
What If I Miss a Session?
If you're unable to attend a session:
You'll automatically receive the recording.
Your onboarding schedule will continue as planned.
You do not need to re-register.
You do not need to restart the program.
If you'd like additional live training, you're welcome to join a future onboarding cohort at no additional cost.
Best Practices for Getting the Most Out of Onboarding
Log In Before Each Session
Have your Homeworks account open before the session begins so you can follow along in real time.
Complete the Recommended Setup Tasks
Each session builds on the previous day's training. Completing any recommended setup work between sessions will help you stay on track.
