Emailing a Document

Overview

You can email any saved document directly from Copilot CRM to one or more customers.


This is useful for sending proposals, service agreements, or other communications quickly and professionally.


Step 1: Open the Documents Page

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Documents from the left-hand menu.

  2. In the Documents List, locate the document you want to email.


Step 2: Open the Email Tool

Click the Envelope Icon on the top-right side of the document you wish to send.
A pop-up window will appear where you can select recipients and customize your email options.


Step 3: Choose Recipients

  1. Click the + icon next to a customer’s name to add them as a recipient.

  2. You can also search for specific customers using the search bar.

  3. You may select and email multiple customers at once if needed.


Step 4: Optional — Attach as PDF

If you want to send a PDF copy of the document along with the email, check the box labeled Attach PDF of Document before sending.


Step 5: Send the Email

Once your recipients are selected and your options are set, click Send Email to deliver the document.


Each recipient will receive the email and attached document (if selected).

  • Email service agreements or contracts for approval.

  • Send marketing or informational documents to multiple customers.

  • Share customized forms or project outlines with clients.
