Overview
If a customer needs to update or remove their saved payment method, you can easily delete their card directly from their profile in Copilot.
Step 1: Open the Customer Profile
Go to the Customers tab in the left-hand menu.
Locate the customer whose card you want to delete.
Click the Customer Name to open their profile page.
Step 2: Locate the Credit Cards/ACH Section
Once you’re on the customer’s profile:
Scroll down to the Credit Cards/ACH section on the right-hand side of the screen.
You’ll see any saved cards listed in this section.
The active card on file will appear highlighted in green.
Step 3: Delete the Credit Card
Click the red Delete Credit Card button next to the saved card.
Confirm your selection when prompted.
After confirmation, the card will be permanently removed from the customer’s account and can no longer be used for payments or recurring billing.
Tip
If the customer wants to replace the deleted card with a new one, you can immediately add a new payment method by clicking Add a Credit Card in the same section.
Security Note:
Deleting a saved card does not affect past payments already processed.
All card information is securely stored and managed through Stripe, ensuring compliance with PCI standards.
