Overview

Copilot CRM supports multiple file types for uploading images, documents, and videos. This article explains which formats are accepted, file size limits, and how compression works across apps.

Supported Image File Types

You can upload the following image formats:

  • JPEG

  • JPG

  • GIF

  • PNG

Supported Document File Types

  • PDF

Supported Video File Types

  • MP4 (up to 500MB)

  • MOV (up to 500MB)

File Size Limits

  • Images & PDFs: Up to 50MB per file

  • Videos: Up to 500MB per file

Video Compression Rules

  • Web App & Copilot CRM App: No native compression. Files must already be under 500MB.

  • Field Force App: You can upload videos up to 760MB. Built-in compression reduces video file sizes automatically to try and meet the 500MB limit.

Troubleshooting Upload Issues

Error: File Not Uploading

Cause: Unsupported format, file too large, or file corruption.

Solution:

  1. Confirm the file is in a supported format.

  2. Ensure the file size is under 50MB (images) or 500MB (videos).

  3. Resize or compress the file if necessary (unless using the Field Force app, which compresses videos automatically).

  4. Test the file locally on your device to confirm it isn’t corrupted.

👉 Pro Tip: Recommended dimensions for images and videos may vary depending on where you’re uploading. See Copilot's image sizing guidelines for best results.
