Introduction
The Work Request Form allows your customers to submit new service requests directly through their Customer Portal. You can also embed this form on your website for easier lead collection.
This article explains how to manage your Work Request Form settings and access your website embed code.
Accessing the Work Request Form Settings
Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of your Copilot screen.
Select the Work Request Form tab in the Settings menu.
Enabling or Disabling Customer Work Requests
If you do not want customers to submit work requests through their portals:
Uncheck the box labeled Hide Work Request Form in the customer portal.
When unchecked, the Work Request Form will no longer appear in your customers’ portals.
You can re-enable the form anytime by unchecking this box.
Embedding the Work Request Form on Your Website
You can easily embed your Copilot Work Request Form directly on your company website.
From the Work Request Form settings page, locate the Code Snippet section.
Copy the snippet that matches your website’s platform:
Standard Code Snippet: Use this for most websites.
WordPress Code Snippet: Use this version only if your website is built on WordPress.
Paste the code into your website’s designated embed area (such as a form or custom HTML block).
URL Redirect After Submission
The URL Redirect feature lets you control where customers are sent after submitting a Work Request Form on your website. This is particularly useful for tracking form usage and conversions through your analytics tools.
Why Use a Redirect
Although optional, redirecting to a custom URL helps you:
Track how many users complete the form on your website.
Send customers to a branded “Thank You” or “Next Steps” page.
Measure engagement using website analytics (each redirect counts as a new page visit).
How to Configure a Redirect URL
Go to Settings > Work Request Form.
By default, the system displays “Display a thank you message” after form submission.
Click the “Display a thank you message” link to expand the dropdown.
Select “Redirect to another page.”
Enter your desired URL in the field provided.
Click Save.
Now, whenever a customer completes the Work Request Form, they’ll be automatically redirected to the page you’ve set.
Example: You might redirect users to a “Thank You” page that includes tracking pixels or analytics scripts to measure total submissions.
Best Practices
Embedding the Work Request Form on your website helps convert visitors into leads automatically.
