Viewing and Sending Receipts

Overview

After a payment is made in Copilot, you can view and send the corresponding receipt directly from the Payments page.


Receipts confirm payment details for both you and your customer and can be shared through multiple delivery methods.


Step 1: Open the Paid Invoice (If applicable)

  1. Go to Finances > Invoices.

  2. At the top of the page, click the Paid button above the Quick Customer Search bar.

    • This filters your invoices to show only those that have already been paid.

  3. Find the invoice you’d like to view and click the Magnifying Glass icon to open it.

  4. On the invoice details page, click the Payments button near the top to view all payments related to this invoice.


Step 2: View Payment Details

On the Payments page, you’ll see a list of all payments tied to that invoice.

To view specific payment details, click the Magnifying Glass icon beside the payment.


This view provides a complete summary of the transaction, including amount, date, and payment method.


Step 3: Send the Receipt to the Customer

To send a copy of the receipt:

  1. From the payment details page, open the Send Receipt As dropdown at the top.

  2. Choose your preferred delivery method:

    • Email

    • Text Message

  3. Once selected, Copilot will automatically deliver the receipt to the customer.


Tip

Always verify the payment details before sending a receipt to ensure accuracy, especially if multiple payments are linked to the same invoice.
