Understand how much revenue is scheduled to come in — and when. Potential Revenue shows you the total value of invoiceable work on the calendar, helping your team plan smarter, fill gaps, and stay aligned across sales and operations.


💡 Business Use Case

Potential Revenue answers the key question:

“How much revenue is on the table based on what we’ve planned to do?”

Use this KPI to:

  • Forecast Cash Flow
    Get a clear picture of upcoming revenue from invoiceable work (excluding taxes and level billing). This helps you make near-term financial decisions with more confidence.

  • Improve Scheduling Efficiency
    Combine Potential Revenue with Budgeted Hours to understand revenue-per-hour or revenue-per-crew-day. This can help prioritize jobs, optimize routes, and deploy teams effectively.

  • Proactively Fill Gaps
    If Potential Revenue looks low for "Tomorrow" or "This Week," it’s a prompt to upsell services, shift jobs, or fill scheduling gaps to hit revenue goals.

  • Align Sales & Operations
    Sales teams see what’s already booked; ops teams plan how to deliver it. Everyone works from the same forward-looking data.

This metric is most valuable when viewed across different timeframes — giving both tactical (today/tomorrow) and strategic (weekly) insight.


🧠 Tooltip Definition

"The total value of invoiceable line items from visits in the selected time period, excluding taxes and items associated with level billing agreements.”

This means:

  • Level billing line items tied to visits in level billing contracts are excluded.

  • Non-invoiceable line items are also excluded.

  • Calculates the total value of invoiceable line items scheduled for today, excluding:

    • Taxes

    • Line items associated with level billing agreements

    • Line items on non-invoiceable visits

  • Displays the total Budgeted Hours scheduled for today (no exclusions)

2. Tomorrow

  • Calculates the total value of invoiceable line items scheduled for tomorrow, excluding:

    • Taxes

    • Line items associated with level billing agreements

    • Line items on non-invoiceable visits

  • Displays the total Budgeted Hours scheduled for tomorrow (no exclusions)

3. This Week

  • Calculates the total value of invoiceable line items scheduled for the current calendar week, excluding:

    • Taxes

    • Line items associated with level billing agreements

    • Line items on non-invoiceable visits

  • Displays the total Budgeted Hours for the week (no exclusions)

  • Budgeted Hours are shown alongside Potential Revenue to help you evaluate effort vs. income.

  • This KPI does not include invoices from level billing agreements, as those are managed separately.
