How to Create a Recurring Series of Visits

Updated over a week ago

To create a series of visits where you service a customer each week, every other week, etc., you want to create a recurring series of visits.

To do that, navigate to "Team>Schedule" from the left-hand side of the page.

Then click the "+ New Event" button, then click "Visit to Customer."

Once you are on the "Create New Visit" screen, name the event whatever you'd like, choose your customer, and choose the property.

If this series of visits is related to a contract, you should choose that contract from the "Contract / Level Billing Agreement" dropdown.
This will let the software know that these items and services should be added to an invoice when you close them, but no price should be added because it is part of a contract/level billing agreement that you are charging a flat rate per month for.

Under the "Services" section, you will enter or choose the items/services you will perform there each time. If you have already set this up for your customer's property, it will automatically fill in when you select your customer/property.

Next, under the "Type" section select "Recurring Series of Visits" from the first dropdown box.

Next, choose how often to visit this customer. You can choose from Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.

In this example, we are going to choose weekly.

(Choosing weekly will allow you to set up visits every week, every two weeks, etc.)

We will set this visit to every two weeks on a Thursday.

Next, we choose the date of the first visit.

(This will be the first day it is on your schedule and routes)

You can choose the last date you will service this property or the total number of visits you want if you don't know an end date. In this example, I am choosing to service the property 32 times.

You can also attach forms to these visits as well by selecting those under the "Visit Forms" section.

Under the "Employees" section, you can choose a crew or employee to assign this series of visits. You can also add Notes for the visit as well.

Once you are done and are happy with your event details, click the "Create Visits" button.
