Copilot allows you to eat or pass the Stripe or PayPal payment processing fee that is attached to all transactions. However, this feature is exclusively available to Enterprise tier subscribers.
It is recommended that you look up your local laws to be compliant. Some states/areas have made it illegal to pass processing fees to the customer. Additionally, businesses must offer a no-fee payment alternative to comply with regulations. Copilot provides ACH payments as a solution for this requirement, but they are only available on the Enterprise tier.
How to Pass Processing Fees To Your Customer
To pass the processing fees to your customer, click the Settings button (the Gear icon at the top right of the screen).
Next, click "Setup & Manage Online Payments."
If you have Stripe or PayPal set up and linked, you will see the option to add the fee to invoices paid by Stripe or PayPal.
